Back so soon…
I actually have a function to attend later on this week and wanted to showcase my hair and not the Marley twists, so I figured I would let the beast loose and just have a little fun!

After removing the braids, I needed to deep condition my hair.
I started by shaving my sides as they had not been shaved in about 3 weeks.
I washed my hair using Trader Joe’s Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner, and I used the Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque for my deep conditioner – my first time ever using it. My thoughts? They will come soon in a thorough review, but for now I will say my hair took the treatment very well.
I kept the treatment in overnight and then used the L.O.C. Method – Liquid. Oil. Cream – to twist my hair into medium size twists all over my head. The liquid I used was water (didn’t wring my hair out), the oil I used was Shea butter
and the cream I used was Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie (old faithful). I wore my twists under a beret for the remainder of the day.
The next day, I untwisted my hair and didn’t fully separate the twists for more of a chunky twist-out look. I didn’t retwist or pineapple that night, so the next morning I put in four chunky braids while I got ready, unraveled them a little later and VOILA – this is what I got.
I ALWAYS cover my hair when I go outside as to not compromise the moisture of my hair for that dry air (and it’s FREEZING cold).
My hair is soft, the boy fell in love all over again, and life is good.
How are you wearing your hair this week?
