I’ve reached my last day on the 8 Hour Diet Challenge and I’m pretty excited about the results I’ve gotten. Almost 10 pounds! I think I’m going to continue on with this because it goes really great with my schedule. Instead of eating in the morning, I substituted side projects, Crossfit and liquids to pass the time until my first meal and I’ve really been able to get things done. Plus, I work evenings so it was easier to eat that way.
Here’s a couple things that I took notice to…
I’ve found that this diet is good for people who want to cut down on their calories. Due to the limited time frame you have to eat you get to consume as much as you would on a normal eating regimen. I also noticed my body had more time to burn calories and since I worked out before I ate I was actually burning calories from the previous day which put me ahead of the game.
I think it was a successful, my diet was 75% Paleo but as I continue I think I’m going to go 100%. I’m determined to get those abs.
