Your eyes are not playing tricks on you! I do, indeed, have pink, blue, purple and green highlights in my hair and guess what?  They are temporary!  Isn’t that good news?  It’s such a great way to have some fun with your strands without a huge commitment.  A few months back you may have seen this pic:
And in all actuality, I forgot to let you in on the secret.  Check it out!
Temporary hair chalk comes in many different brands and I purchased Hot Huez for $10 from Bed, Bath and Beyond. You can also purchase it at Target (I believe I saw them there).  It comes with four different colors: neon green, electric blue, hot pink and fiery fuchsia and an instructional page detailing the do’s and don’ts of application.

I show you how to use them here (video on my YouTube – make sure you subscribe to stay in the loop) & below – so I won’t go into the specifics of how it works. I really like the color payoff, but I will say if you touch it constantly, the color won’t be as vibrant to keep your hands out!  Other than that, you can sport the color highlights that you want without having to bleach your own tresses (we are all about healthy hair, right?).

In all that you do, make sure you read the directions before applying.  I kinda do my own thing since I’ve worn them before, so do what best suits you.

Have you ever used hair chalk? What was your experience with it?
