Are you going after your dreams?

  • Yes, but I’ve realized that it takes you to that uncomfortable space, like ALL THE TIME! Found you via LuvtobNatural.com!

  • Love this discussion. You’re very inspiring. This article has a great touch to it. ONWARD!

  • This was needed for me today. Thanks for your encouraging message. And to answer your question, yes, I am going after (and living) my dream(s), in many ways. What I once thought was a particular dream deferred, has recently transpired and I am very grateful. I am truly convinced that things do not work according to our plan, but for the plan of God. Yes, we will have setbacks and it is definitely a set up for success. I also agree and believe that one must have a scripted plan to achieve the dreams that we have. The “no” that we get from time to time, is a blessing in itself. We don’t see it (at the time), but it is. I have met some wonderful people during my “no” (including you), but have now realized that the “no” has been a blessing in disguise. I say this because during my “no” season, I was being blessed with another dream of mine, Naturally Supreme. I believe that particular “no” that I had, set me up for something that I could not have imagined. And I now know that the “no” just meant “not right now”. Three years later, I’m living my “no”.

Girl, I have so much to say, my mind is all over the place. I have so many dreams and aspirations (personal, spiritual, financial, professional) and have experienced all parts of the spectrum of success and failure in my life. I am still growing. I am no longer fearful of the unknown (well, most of me) and I truly believe in God’s plan for me, whether it is what I want at the time or not. I trust Him.

Thanks for being so inspirational and encouraging. You are such a bright light and I love that you are letting it shine. 🙂

  • Wow. I posted a lot of words! 🙂

  • Thank you, Marie! ONWARD!!

  • Thanks for checking it out, Marie. It definitely will take you to a foreign place outside of your comfort zone, but that’s when all the magic happens. If you are comfortable, you expect certain things to happen and you become complacent. You only know what you expect… but when you venture out you never know what could happen!

  • YES LARHONDA! That was a sermon and you ministered to my soul, girl. I completely understand the whole “no” situation, but I also know there is a “yes” out there and we all have to keep pushing until we get our “yes”! Thank you sooooo much for sharing your story, you don’t know how much of a blessing it is to me and others.

And of course, when we met one another we were both in a “no” season, but look at God! Look at us now – Won’t He Do IT, Sis?!
