Fashion: Body Chains and Baggy Jeans

thigh-ripped-jeans-urban-outfitters-shaq-sneakers-askpRoyI loveeee this look – it’s so 90s grunge fashion forward! Body chains, oversized, ripped denim, fitted crop tops – all perfect pieces from that era!

The Last Hoorah.  It’s starting to get a little chilly in the desert and I’m going to start having to wear hoodies, long sleeves … something on my arms to keep the chill away.  Before I unpack my Fall attire, I had to get one more wear out of my classic crop-tube top.  I love this thing as it’s not too short or not too long.  I can layer it (think Clueless style) to wear it by itself, and for this particular outfit choice it paired well with the body chain.

As For My Cut Out Jeans:  To be quite honest, this occasion was my first time wearing them (very music festival appropriate might I add) and I soooooo wanted to cash in on them before the wear got too weird weather wise.  Didn’t happen… yet.  I’m going to see if I can give them one last spin before retiring them for full coverage denim.  Being that it’s still in the high 70s – low 80’s during the day I think I could get a couple of more days wear out of them *crossing fingers*

The Piece That Gave the Outfit the Most Kick? The shoes of course! Shaqnosis to the rescue!!! Hubby was reluctant for me to wear those out because … dirty kicks, but I convinced him they would withstand the test of time and if they didn’t, the “sneaker-head cleaner man” in him would make them all better (as he did).
