Root Hair Color Touch-up using Creme of Nature | pRoy 2.0

I’m reloadeddddd! I got the chance to get a root hair color touch-up on my natural hair and went for a fun, bold look!! Creme of Nature teamed up with Pekela Riley again (remember? She was the stylist who colored my hair a few months back) to touch up my hair color.  We decided that it would be best to go big or go home with the color this time by lightening my blonde and adding a new color in the mix – red!

Creme of Nature used Honey Blonde on my tips and, in an ombre style technique, faded the color into Red Copper.  I also requested a shape since, well… my hair is growing like weeds!! We revamped my image and created pRoy 2.0 – I LOVE IT!  Of course I recorded the process – check it out below:

We styled my hair in a twist set using the Perfect 7 Leave In and the Pudding Perfection and then I sat under the dryer for a while, only realizing that it was getting late and we were all tired (me especially from being jet lagged from my Philippines trip) so I slept on the style.  The next day was a travel day and by the time I got back to AZ it was rainy outside so I waited to take my hair down.  Boy, am I glad that I did!  Do you see that color?!  Just beautiful!! Here are a few close up shots of the color:

I do see a slight orangey tint on my ends.  During the styling process, the color transferred to my blonde only slightly. However, it is nothing that a good wash with my Generic Value Products Conditioning Shampoo can’t fix. Be on the lookout for that.

How are you sporting your hair these days?  Would you sport a bold color combination such as this?

THIS!! Beautiful out come. Its bold yet kinda mellow in a way with the red mixed in. I have a tapered cut that’s growing out slightly and I can entertaining color as well. That red is a nice shade I’d love to try.
